Must have skills:

Strong RDBMS concepts and experience in creating, maintaining Views, Stored Procedures, Functions using SQL server.

Experience in working with Event Handlers, SCD’s, MDS (Master Data Services) and CDC concepts in SQL and SSIS.

Create SSIS packages using transformations and CDC concepts for Incremental load.

Should be worked on Database Tuning and Query Optimization in SQL and resolved issues to generate a smooth process for Web App.

Configured various SSIS packages to extract data from different sources.

Experience in database consistency checks using DBCC commands.

Worked on various connection managers from different source to configure SSIS.

Installation, configuration and upgrading of Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL server software and related products. Also need to install SSMS and Visual studio along with SSDT.

Good knowledge on JSON queries (Source and Target).

Database tuning, SQL profiler and performance monitoring. Application tuning and performance monitoring. Setup and maintain documentation and standards.

Extensive experience in working with SQL Server 2005/2008 R2/2012/2014/2016/2019 and MS Access.

Expert in Database Modelling. Should be able to create procedures, functions, views, and relationships between the tables.

Good to have:

Extensive knowledge on SQL Profiler and used Database tuning and Query Optimization concepts to increase the performance of   the queries.

Implement SCD concepts to process incremental load during update and insertion of data for every iteration.

Performing Root cause analysis on the issues/errors with the data to identify the actual cause.

Good to have Query Surge knowledge.

Knowledge on any cloud technologies (mostly AWS)
